“I’ve been riding and competing for 20+ years”

- Sarah Dodd

Smart Horse

Smart Horse is the brain child of Sarah Dodd. Sarah is a EA Level One General Instructor. She has been riding and competing for 20+ years predominantly as a showjumper. She is currently studying nutrition at TAFE. For the past 3 years she worked for Sydney Horse, previously at Centennial Park Equestrian Centre and more recently at North Richmond. At Sydney Horse she dealt with a range of beginner clients and has developed her skills with this particular group.

She is now an independent coach. Sarah teaches the fundamentals of riding, treats students as individuals and takes pride in her commitment to horse welfare. Her focus is on showjumping with solid basic foundations. Her sessions are fun and interactive whilst also maintaining good focus on learning new skills and developing pre-existing ones.

After leaving Sydney Horse she decided to pursue her passion, nutrition. As with riding there is no one-size-fits-all approach to achieving your goals. Sarah’s interests include sustainable weight management and plant-based nutrition. If you are wanting to get the best out of your equestrian pursuits on and off the horse, then contact Sarah.
